The Tournament Trail May 12-18

The PKR open had many weekly tournaments with $10,000 Guarantees. The cash was divided up in a number of different ways.

Mondays Tournament- $10,000 Guar.- Open
Player Leonardshelby took it down for $3,097 as he defeated a field of 412 players. Leonardshelby's win was not a fluke as he would find another Final Table in Tuesdays $10,000 Guar.

Tuesdays Tournament- $10,000 Guar.- Open
Oceanindien found himself a winner after outlasting 394 other players to capture a victory of $2,955. Oceanindien has been having some impressive finishes as he final tabled the Saturday Showdown and the Sunday Classic. He also added a 12 in the April Masters as he just missed out on another final table. Other notable finishes include a 2nd place finish by Blakmenba, 5th place by Tassen77, and a 6th place finish by Northy.

Wednesdays Tournament- $10,000 Guar.- Terminator Bounty
The tournament featured a $10,000 prize pool with 6 $100 bounties. The Final Table of this event had some of PKR's top players alongside with 2 bounties. Callmeraoul made a nice call as PKR_Jabba tried to bluff making the heads up match rather short. He raked in a total of $4,901 as he took down some major money with the bounties. Other notable finishes include Fallenangel, who finsihed 4th. Spazpecker has made his name known amongst this tourney as he has finished 2nd, 23rd, and 3rd all in consecutive weeks. The tournament has been getting a great turn out and is growing rapidly.

Thursdays Tournament- $10,000 Guar.- Open
Two experienced players ended heads up as the Swiss Osteomat was challenged by the Dane Paledane. Osteomat was ranked 2nd in overall MTT rankings yet he could not overcome the Dane.

Thursdays TV Tournament- $10,000 Guar.- Open
The $100 buy-in had a field of 136 players all fighting for the #1 spot. Farryboy and MrPatel7 finished 4th anf 7th each with notable PKR resumes. Brazzino captured the title for an impressive $3,672 as he defeated runner-up Skinner1981. Tune into PKR TV on SKY or YouTube to watch these Final Table.

Fridays Tournament- $10,000 Guar.- Open
Lesstax2pay fought a tough match heads-up against skipdbezum to capture a cool $3,000 pay day.

Saturdays Tournament- $20,000 TV Showdown
There was a large field of 455 entrants with first place taking a nice prize of $6,006. Giansanti battled against Alacartebud for the title. Giansanti was able to claim the title and Im sure Alacartebud will be happy with his $3,503 award for second place. The event will air later with hole cards being shown along with commentary.

Sundays Tournament- Classic $25,000 Gaur.
Once again the Final major of the week attracted 455 players. The first place prize was $7,000 and Papachanga was in the hunt was again as he made two straight final table, but fell short as he captured a 10th place finish. Goodyin and Redshape found themselves heads up. Last week goodyin finished 15th and once again could not pull off the victory allowing for Redshape to claim the $7,000 prize.

It was another great week of tournaments and many exciting finishes took place!
